This Privacy Policy explains how Silq Studio — a trade name of an independent developer based in Québec, Canada (“we”, “us”) — handles information in connection with the game Jelly Blocks (the “Game”), however you access it — on the web, through a gaming portal, or as a mobile or mini-game app.
The Game saves a small amount of data locally on your device (in your browser’s local storage or the app’s local storage) so it can remember your progress between sessions:
On CrazyGames, the Game uses the CrazyGames Data Module for your best score, experience progress, games played, best combo, and cleared lines. For guests, CrazyGames stores this progress locally. If you are signed in to CrazyGames, CrazyGames may back it up and synchronize it across devices. Tutorial status and sound, music, and vibration preferences remain local.
Silq Studio does not receive your CrazyGames password or other account credentials. CrazyGames operates the account and cloud-storage service under its own policies.
We do not collect or ask for your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or any account credentials. The Game has no user accounts run by Silq Studio. If you use a hosting platform account, that account is operated by the platform.
You may play Jelly Blocks through a third-party platform — for example a web gaming portal (such as CrazyGames or itch.io), a mobile app store (Apple App Store or Google Play), or a mini-game platform.
On platforms that monetize through advertising, the platform and its advertising and measurement partners process certain data to display ads and measure performance — for example device and browser information, approximate location (derived from IP address), gameplay and engagement events, and advertising identifiers. Where required, the platform manages the consent and the choice between personalized and non-personalized ads; we do not run our own consent banner, and we do not receive or store this data ourselves. This processing is governed by the platform’s own privacy policy, which we encourage you to read:
In the versions of the Game distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, we display ads using Google AdMob. To serve and measure these ads, Google and its partners collect certain data, including your device’s advertising identifier (the IDFA on iOS and the Advertising ID on Android), device information, approximate location derived from your IP address, and in-app interaction events.
On iOS, the system App Tracking Transparency prompt asks for your permission before this advertising identifier is used to track you across other apps and websites; if you decline, you will see non-personalized ads. You can limit or reset ad tracking at any time in your device settings.
This data is processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy and “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services”.
Other than the advertising described above (platform-managed on web portals, and Google AdMob in our mobile apps), the Game does not include any separate analytics or tracking of our own. If that changes, we will update this Policy first.
The settings screen may include links to our website and social channels (silq.studio, YouTube, TikTok). Selecting a link takes you to a third-party site or app that has its own privacy policy and terms. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.
Jelly Blocks is family-friendly and contains no chat, no user-to-user features, and no personal data collection by us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Where the Game is offered through a platform, that platform’s protections and applicable laws (such as the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act and the EU/UK GDPR rules on children) govern any data the platform may process. If you are a parent or guardian and have a question, please contact us.
Local game data is protected by your device and browser. Cloud progress on CrazyGames is stored, secured, and retained by CrazyGames under its own policies. Silq Studio does not operate a separate server database for Jelly Blocks progress.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or the CCPA/CPRA (California) — for example to access, correct, or delete personal data. Since we do not operate a separate player database, in practice there may be little for us to act on directly. You can contact us with questions and exercise applicable rights with the platform for information or progress it processes.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Effective date” above. Significant changes will be highlighted where reasonable.
